OK finally got it working ! On my tt5.00 cd, there is no engf.cab. Also, I got an error trying to run ttn.cab. But I got this info from elsewhere that made everything come together : instead of running the engf.cab, try copying data05.chk & engf.vif to My Device/My Documents/TomTom. And instead of running the ttn.cab, just extract the files using WinCe Cab Manager and put them : Program Files\Navigator\data.chk Program Files\Navigator\TomTom Navigator.exe My Documents\TomTom\CurrentMap.dat Forget about the previous comment re maps : just copy the first one using a card reader, it works fine for me !
