I had the same problem. It boils down to the default behavior of the browser for the particular file extension. This link explains a bit more: http://blogs.msdn.com/excel/archive/2006/09/26/771221.aspx I'm going to try to code a web part to display Excel Inline programmatically. Good luck! Jason Lochan
